Nature’s Rage

winds whip, heavy rainin’
lashing out in frustration
what once was, now fadin’

razing hail from above
pelted with emotion
screeching — cannot repair
injuries sustained
reminiscing on the warmth
what caused this strain?

gentle caress on a spring day
a long forgotten touch
sunshine taken for granted
