Paradise Found

Between two eclipses
I wished upon a star
An eleven hour flight
I had never traveled that far

A constant on my mind
How could I bring to life
Reoccurring dreams
I had tried with all my might

To forget —
In my stomach a pit
Was told all roads would lead
To that which I desired most

Perhaps time is not real
As I’m starting to feel
The doubt creeping in

But I hold my head high
As the moon in the sky
Reminds me —
There is Faith to be kept,
Hearts to connect,
A journey to you across space
