It’s the most wonderful time of year! Not only that but it’s my first Christmas in New York City so best believe I’m in full tourist mode. It is mandatory I take a photo at the Rockefeller Center tree! I’m determined to make December the sweet cherry on top of what has been the most hectic, transformative, rewarding, healing year of my life. I wish people carried with them the same joy and kindness they do around Christmas, but since some of them do not, it makes me cherish this time of year that much more.

The winter for most animals is a time of hibernation but since we live in a capitalistic society, at the very least I’ll be using it as a time to reflect on what I’ve learned this year. This reflection period will be carried into the New Year until Spring, the astrological New Year, with the blossoming of new beginnings and ideas. It’s important to consider what it is that fulfills you and how you’re going to go about making your dreams come true. They say anything is possible if you just believe! I say let your life be a testament that they aren’t wrong about that either.
