Serendipity

It’s important to enjoy the small things in life that are right in front of you.

I don’t often get to actually leave the office for lunch, but this day my boss was out and it was too beautiful out. I had a to sneak out (not actually but that’s how it feels sometimes). I was walking to Starbucks, and a man on a bike was blasting his music, he said to me “have a good day my sista.” Usually, I ignore strangers on the street, but my mood was just so good that I made sure I thanked him. It actually further improved my mood! The fact that there are people in the world just being kind, shouldn’t be as surprising as it is.

The next day I was talking to the man in the office next to my desk and he started telling how he saw a man who was so happy just enjoying his music blasting from his bike. We bonded over the importance of the little things in life.

That day, I knew there was truly no such thing as a coincidence.

Somethings in life align just for me.
