❀ The content of this website will begin to change as time goes on. I am blooming and as I grow, so too shall my content. To the outside it might look dark and out the ordinary but I am allowing myself to be more seen by everyone. Don’t judge lest not you be judged (and I’m one to talk. Hello pot, meet kettle!)

✿ I’m gearing up for an open mic on October 11th that I’m so very excited about. The poem I wrote is rhythmic in nature and pretty much wrote itself. The theme is house party and though I never been to a true house party like the ones in the TV shows, I came up with imagery that I can’t wait to share. I want the audience to watch the poem play out in their minds.

❁ Mentally, I’m exhausted and caught between feeling like I always need to be physically doing something and letting myself enjoy the time God gave me to sit back and relax. I won’t take this time for granted. It’s a big reason I’m making sure that I upload frequently and post more. This blog is my baby love!

✽ Traveling between Newark and Brooklyn has me exhausted but I can’t give the city up. It’s the freedom for me! I suppose I felt I could be my full self there. I know I’ll get back one day, just not today, and though I don’t feel it’ll be my last stop it really does have my heart. Imagine getting to live in a brownstone for a few years. I’m manifesting! (A beach house with a garden is my end goal. Picture me pretty, tanning on the beach!)
